My background involves doing PV (PhotoVoltaic) system inspections for Grid, Sunrun, and Sunnova, and over the years customers usually ask me about the condition of their panels. Not only do they not see how dirty the panels are, they also don't see the long-term damage from oxidation, which detrimentally affects efficiency. Cleaning panels regularly is the key to long-term health and efficiency, and it's why I started Interstellar. As I observed other cleaners, I realized how they were cleaning them could damage the coating. It's like our vehicles, anyone can clean them, but not everyone cleans them safely, at least for the coating.
